@anshuraj4277 Do you even realize that you are the one obsessed with identity, particularly CASTE? During Indira Gandhi's PMship at one point, the inflation was over 35% and growth at 0.9%. These were the 70s. Indira was at the peak of her popularity thanks to the Bangladesh liberation war and the magical "Gareebi Hatao". It looked like she could NEVER LOSE yet she did by shooting herself in the foot, first with the nationalization of wholesale wheat trade and then with EMERGENCY. The rest is history (although admittedly she was back by 1981). Despite his massive popularity, Modi has not tested the limits of his power. Demonetization was quickly hushed while farm laws were humbly withdrawn. Trust the wisdom of the crowd. People are neither gullible nor stupid. They are hungry for a worthy business proposition. The CONgress inspires ZERO CONFIDENCE. Naveen Patnaik, Mamata Bannerjee and even Kejriwal have beaten the BJP. You are perfectly entitled to think of Modi as a FRAUD. However, people who vote for him do not concur with your OPINION. That's democracy. If you want Modi out then either wait for Modi to make Indira level blunder or wait for a credible opposition to rise because you committing a MENTAL FRAUD if you think people should just agree with you. The battle of statistics won't help.

@anshuraj4277 Why sad? Identity is essential for all humans. OBCs form the bulk of BJP vote bank today. The PM is OBC and 4 out of 12 BJP CMs are also OBC. In fact, there is only 1 Brahmin CM, 3 are Rajputs and 1 is ST. OBCs are the reason BJP has its Govt in Delhi. Once upon a time the UCs particularly Brahmins used to own the left, right and center. The right has come a long way to accommodate the marginalized but the left continue to be dominated by elites. Hence, BJP has become such a massive force.

@anshuraj4277 I do not dispute the unemployment crisis. The global economy is indeed going through a tough time. India didn't distribute cheques like the US and the UK to support firms during the COVID crisis. The move could have saved jobs but as we see with the US and the UK, the ill effects are very severe. It would have been only worse in India. The BJP needs a quick turnaround and the unemployment to go down else it will head toward a tough 2024. The good thing is that it has time.

@anshuraj4277 Oligarchy in a federal system? Let's assess some facts. A few thousand farmers bent forced this Govt to withdraw what could have been Liberalization 2.0. Before that, a "suit buit ki sarkaar" jibe from Rahul Gandhi (a totally discredited politician) halted long-awaited land reform. Only 12 out of 27 Indian states have a BJP CM. BJP is far from being a MONOPOLY. So your claim of OLIGARCHY is BOGUS. If anything BJP is an election sensitive party As far as the policies of the Modi Govt are concerned - India is the fastest-growing large economy. 80 cr people get free ration, and 140 million moved out of poverty since 2015-16 (UN Report). According to the World Bank, 70% of the population had electricity access in 2007 and that increased to 93% by 2017. By 2019, the number of people without access to toilets has reduced by 450 million people. In 2015, nearly half our population did not have access to toilets (source: UNICEF). Jal Shakti mission and PM Awas Yojana are already the big success stories of Modi 2.0. The Modi Govt's corruption-free social policies are shining like a jewel. The poor were deprived of basic dignity for the past 70 years. Life is improving. The absence of big bang reforms and growth is the only thing hurting a middle class like me but not the social policies. Nevertheless, Modi Govt still has time to fire the growth engines.

Dumping Yogendra Yadav is by far the smartest political move, Kejriwal has ever made. The man is now on Rahul Gandhi's advisory panel. No wonder INC is going to the dogs. Kejriwal's core USP has not changed. It is still "anti-corruption". However, he has expanded his business proposition in light of the prevailing realpolitik. How is this a bad thing? Kejriwal finds himself in a soup with Gopal Italia and Rajendra Gautam. Hence, he went nuclear with this bizarre suggestion. Hindus are not gullible to buy into such stupidity but by raising the pitch he'll dissipate some of the heat he is facing over the unnecessary anti-Hindu remarks by his people.

You are devoting an entire CTC to this? TOTAL WASTE. Such cheap comments won't fetch him any additional Hindu votes. Nobody can beat BJP on Hindutva. STUPIDITY aside, AAP is poised to replace the CONgress thanks to the latter's total SURRENDER. The GOP is literally grasping at straws by throwing all its weight behind Karnataka. It is hoping to use the victory as a launchpad for Rahul 2.0. Reminds me of Nokia's last-ditch effort with the Nokia Lumia series. A brand new OS that was against the market tide of Android.

Muslims will go lock, stock, and barrel to anyone who will defeat the BJP. Kejriwal knows this and has first-hand experience with the phenomenon in Delhi. He made the statement to distract voters from Gopal Italia and Rajendra Gautam fiasco. No doubt it is STUPIDITY but so far even the INC is yet to issue a statement. He knows that INC is abandoning the North. Kejriwal thinks he can be the next King of the North. Kejriwal may not be entirely PRAGMATIC but INC is DELUSIONAL. They think the absence of the BJP in the South is somehow equal to the presence of Congress. A look at their assembly tally will be enough to burst the bubble but alas the Gandhis........

@anshuraj4277 So you are a Leftist. India's tax slabs haven't changed for the rich. In fact, this Govt has even brought dividend under tax bracket. If anything this Govt had been the most socialist Govt since the 70s. Hence, the "long before COVID" rut. As the saying goes "if communist gain control of Sahara two things will happen, first nothing for the first 50 years and then there will be a shortage of sand". It is only post COVID did Modi Govt realise his mistakes and did some legitimate rightward shift. Some like farm laws were dead on arrival while the labor laws reforms went missing in action. Others micro reforms he did push through but still long way to go.
