  1. It's a fact that 90% of the people recover from Covid on their own. It is also a fact that very few need ventilation. Also, a fact that of the few that need ventilation, most don't make it. Once someone is there the chances of survival are low. That said all the above are in relative % terms. With 3 lakh cases per day, 10% itself is 30,000. So that is where the problem lies. A wise leader would mention the above but also emphasize the need to test more and advocate lockdowns. The biggest mistake that people make in the face of crisis is that they deny they are in any crisis. After that's its a journey straight to hell.
