Comments by "Sankalp" (@sankalp6872) on "Opposition is silent on gunshots at Owaisi. They’re wrong to think it will trigger Hindus" video.
Not just politicians, some "prominent" journalists went as far as mocking Owaisi's attack. Secular parties see the Hyderabad-based party as a competitor and threat to their Muslim vote bank. They would prefer him absent. As far as "understanding the Hindu vote" is concerned, I'd rather go with Yashwant Deshmukh than Prashant Kishor. You cannot win an election in India with an "anti-Hindu" image. Hindus don't need pandering or flogging of Muslims to win them over. Hindus just want the same degree of appropriateness and respect bestowed toward others on religious matters. Hence, lewd comments from Mahua Moitra, Digvijay, mocking Kashi by Rahul or Munnawar or Swara don't fit well with the larger Hindusphere. Ours is the first-past-the-post system and with 10-12 candidates in the fray at every constituency, 50% vote is more than sufficient.

@libshastra I do not know about political wisdom but I feel Prashant Kishor draws too much credence than he deserves. In the thePrint interview that DK quotes, PK described himself as "Gandhian or Center-Left". Now, that's convenient for somebody who has hopped from one political formation to another all but for a hefty fee. I do not deny that he is a "master-strategist", perhaps even the best. He has enough victories to show that he certainly aces the arena. But he is an entrepreneur and amongst the most shrewd CAPITALISTS. Your interviews are NOT Shark tank where he'll reveal his business model. PK is Houdini of our time. He cannot be trusted.
