Irrelevant verdict. No political party in the world is transparent about its donors. This verdict won't make the slightest difference.

@tapemaj They do. He is right and it's not necessarily through Shell companies either. Electoral funding is to buy influence over the Govt. In a transparent system, a big donation draws immediate attention. Now companies wishing to donate 100 crores would distribute it over a network of say 100 proxies donating 1 crore each.

@mg.f.9023 You worry about your "Abbajaan". She'll still be back for another term.

@PawanDubeyK It achieves NOTHING. Electoral bonds were donations through a proper banking channel. There was a proper money trail. At least, there was some info on how much money each party had. Now we won't even have that information. Also, anonymity is a crucial deterrent against political vindictiveness. An INC donor would not want his name known to a BJP Govt and vice versa.

@xcel5203 Which party are we talking about? Donations through Electoral Bonds: BJP 52%, INC 63%, TMC 93%, DMK 90%, BJD 90%, and so on. So let's not kid ourselves. My rationality is neither weird nor illogical. It's practical. Morality is a self defined Matrix. You can make your own "moral" scale and define people. Politics is all about "precedence". Nobody cares much about central agency "misuse" rhetoric because previous Congress Govts were no saints.
