Wonderful analysis and cheeky analogies with history. There is an intermix of powerplay, politics, and propaganda among all global media coverage on the Russia-Ukraine conflict. If China is in the mix then expect fireworks in Ladakh or Taiwan or both. I hope our country stays vigilant. Keenly interested to see Erdogan's next move. He is the weakest link in NATO.

@ThePrintIndia Thank you, Shekhar. The US-designed Germany to be that way. Perhaps, the one thing you didn't sufficiently highlight was those "NUKES". No despot had nukes while Russia has more than the US. It severely limits NATO's options against Putin.

@akshayhiremath4584 Yes dude. It was a class apart interview and he applied only logic and rationality to put forward his argument without getting into wayward speculations. However, as I noted in the comment section there, he had only explained the "how" but not the "why". The "why" a puzzle esp in the September to February time frame. Read "Moscow's Compellence Strategy by" Rob Lee. That's a fascinating account of "why". Of course, the element of speculation can't be discarded but it is at least devoid of any propaganda.
