Gujarat elections will be the crystal ball of India's future political landscape. We desperately need to restore two-party parity at the center. If AAP manages to edge out the Congress and bully the BJP then even in defeat it will achieve a great victory. Nationally, BJP's impunity will come to an end while Congress's incompetence will finally RIP the grand old party for good.

@deepakkumarsingh5876 Thank you for your response, DK. I just want to point out that AAP is never on the horizon anywhere. In Delhi, they came out of the blue. In Punjab, they were escorted to the corridors of power personally by the Gandhis and in Guj, they don't even have an MLA or vote share but are making the loudest noises. So don't look toward the horizon, Kejriwal employs stealth with perfection. Only a modern-day Houdini could carve a niche for himself within BJP's dedicated Hindutva voters and combine them with traditional anti-BJP voters. Of course, I agree that in the long run, the strategy may not work but so far it's working. His main challenge is the rural vote.

@deepakkumarsingh5876 Thanks, DK. I doubt "political analytics". It is too much of a moving target for me to load my gun and hit the bulls-eye. Professionally I am a risk analyst. I follow your stories ardently and I think you are a living legend (literally a needle in a haystack full of sellouts and political suck-ups). I know it's hard to believe that lightning could strike twice in the same spot and for good measure, we could discount Kejriwal. However, the 2014 shift was not for Modi or Hindutva. It was largely for "change" against everything wrong in this country (Kejriwal being one of the engineers of the phenomenon). Yes, the short-run trend may suggest one thing but we must also consider the long-run trend in effect since 2014.
