Comments by "Sankalp" (@sankalp6872) on "Modi Govt’s FCRA amendments u0026 why it’s a case of ‘sab mile huye hain‘ (they’re all complicit)" video.
Manmohan Singh's comments on the NGOs are not wrong. Every time there are protests even for the construction of a small Factory. Then the same people protest on unemployment. Reminds me of a scene from Khosla ka Ghosla.

@aviralmittal89 RIL is the largest employer in India. It employs over 100,000 people directly and much more indirectly. And what monopolies? Adani group operates in diverse sectors and product lines include edible oil and Port and Terminal operations. Their market share is not even 20% except in edible oil. As to RIL, they are all-powerful in Oil but that is not a new phenomenon. It has been the case for the last 30 years now. In fact, their entry into sectors like Telecom forced players in those sectors to improve services and reduce cost.

@aviralmittal89 Your statement confirms your awareness. By your logic, China, Japan, and Germany must be truly unemployed nations. Guess what they are NOT.

@aviralmittal89 So you want India to produce handlooms instead of computers? Great. Thankfully it's only you. The basic rule of business is to produce not what you want but what consumers want. The economy is an aggregate of all activities and nobody is employing all 1.3 billion in factories. You need industrial workers who spend on restaurants, Restauranters who buy produce from traders, Traders who produce from farmers, and farmers who spend on Industry produced fertilizers. That's an economy. As to oligarchies and plutocracies - 1) Russia is way ahead of India 2) Circumstances in these countries are unlike that of India. Even Saudi Arabia and the Middle east are monopolies but they have an abundance of Natural resources. A monopoly is not bad at times. However, The market structure in India does NOT allow a monopoly. Firstly, there are laws against it. Secondly, the cost of a monopoly is too high. The threat of Govt intervention via price caps is real and uncertainty is the enemy of business. Therefore, a monopoly is not feasible. Collusion is more likely but not a monopoly.

@aviralmittal89 I am happy with my denial. Thank you. As to the larger politics of the matter - Be it the BJP or the Congress (at least since liberalization) have followed the same economic template. That is very much reassuring. Congress may have a Rahul Gandhi problem but on the off chance they win any elections - I doubt they'll deviate from the MMS era set up.

@VarunKumar-bn2tu Yes. Who will explain that to these LEFTISTS? They use the same Jio network to criticize Ambani. Face it the LEFT are losers who abhor the successful lot.
