  5. I think Indians are considerably smart viz-a-viz Americans. Europeans have strong practical knowledge. Unfortunately, our mentality is too job centric. We are generally very risk-averse. Dignity of labor is still an issue. Engineering and MBA have abysmal ROI (Not worth considering the lakhs of rupees that one needs to pay). Skill centric education is necessary. I was shocked to know that even people who complete MBBS or even MBA from IIMs actually prepare for IAS. Nothing illegal but don't really see the point.

  6. Finally, an HRD Minister ( Henceforth Education Minister) who knows things. It took 6 years for PM Modi but he has finally got his team right. Maybe Javadekar needs to be kicked out.
