Great content. Sushant Sareen Sir is a vast ocean of knowledge. At times, He has a bit of a tendency to draw premature conclusions, but his arguments are always grounded in facts. Sareen Sir, alongside many others (Scholars from both Left and Right), had favored Imran Khan over the army. Abhijit Iyer Mitra was among the few who had vouched for the Army to prevail over Khan. That said, Abhijit was horribly wrong regarding the Ukraine war.

@koteswar009 Not just few days back. He admitted it immediately after Russia's "special operation" announcement (4 years back). The Right-Progressive ecosystem is much smaller but their convictions are rooted in truth and humility. J Saideepak, Sanyal, AIM, Sareen, Harsh Madhusudan, Vikram Sampath, Ranganathan are few in numbers but not hesitant to admit mistakes when wrong unlike the "under the carpet shrugging" that defines the Left.

@libshastra Not my area of expertise; hence, I can neither endorse nor dispute your views. In Banking, we normally wait for things to crystalize before swooping in, as it involves significant money. IMO, with Pakistan, we must always have a ready PLAN. Hawks like Sushant Sir could help us draw such plans. However, Pak is not entirely unpredictable. The Army values self-preservation over everything else. Hence, I strongly disagree with Rahul Gandhi and others who say that India's next war will be with Pak-China combined forces. India is insured by MAD, but more importantly, the cost of failure is just too high. Both countries are run by a small group of elites.
