@PK-tt5kk Impressive. To be honest, when I used the word "right-libertarian" I didn't expect someone to pick up on its literal meaning else I would have articulated my original comment better. My bad. It's thePrint audience, and I should have realized it. Let me correct myself - I didn't mean "Laissez-faire" at one day's or 5 years' notice. I wish for it to be a more prominent political discourse and for the state to take steps toward it. Unfortunately, I don't see it happening, and worse we are actually moving toward a command economy with Soviet characteristics. The Old Pension Scheme, for e.g. is economic suicide. INC has not even implemented it in Rajasthan and Chattisgarh despite promises. Both these states will implement them in the final year, which is next year (the election year 2023), and leave a welcome gift time bomb for the next Govt. Even if these same Govts are sworn in, the situation would be dire for the whole country. Everyone is competing for freebies - electricity, TV, Grih aadhar, laadli Lakshmi (aka Govt sponsored dowry), etc. Even BJP is an active player in these disasters.
