@xenon6947 Dassault has set up Dassault Reliance Aerospace Limited (DRAL) in partnership with Anil Ambani in Nagpur. The company is already manufacturing parts for Rafale. You are living in UPA times. The manufacturing deal was contingent on India buying more than 100 Rafales. However, the order size was cut to 36, with planes directly coming from France. Also, you don't get F35 for 100 million. Germany is buying F35s for 250 million and Canada for 450 million. The price depends on customization and order size. Only the US gets them for 100 million because the US govt foots the R&D bill and gives several incentives to Lockheed Martin.

@xenon6947 Dude, get out of that Islamo-Rahul-Gandhi-Ganja. The 36 Rafales were bought directly from the French Govt in flyaway condition. There was no question of manufacturing them in India. The earlier deal had HAL making 108 Rafales in India with technology transfer from France, but Dassault was refusing to take responsibility for HAL-made Rafales. This deal never went through as India went forward with Tejas. You can google search and confirm for yourself or choose to remain in the smoke of your islamo-Rahul ganja. You can close your eyes to facts, but that does NOT change facts.
