  2. The tax on our Mutual funds was a big turn off and might have subdued spending. Of course, the finance ministry and RBI need to coordinate, but the state and center also need to have a hard talk and prepare a road map. Big purchases like automobiles are what drive the economy. Unless these get a boost we will find ourselves in an extended "low income economy" trap.
