  1. History repeats itself. Tools of warfare might change but the template will remain the same. Great power won't directly engage in wars. They'll only fight proxy wars. If China were to annex Taiwan, it will do so by brewing internal discontent and would later invade under false pretexts. "The Art of War" by Sun Tzu is the only report of consequence.
