  1. Russia was in a FREEFALL before Putin. He stabilized the country and is the first competent leader in the Kremlin since Stalin. Of course, the war hasn't gone as planned but the LAST THING THE WORLD NEEDS RIGHT NOW IS PAKISTANIZATION OF RUSSIA. Only Russians get to choose the ultimate fate of Putin and their country. Any Western nudge could potentially foul up the situation in unimaginable ways.
