@AryanRaj-yf2mj What priviledged caste? Sometimes it is better to stop making caste based excuses for your failures. You will be disliked for even the silliest of reasons - color of skin, region, college, not someones's relative etc but life is about moving from one failure to another instead of sitting whining about those issues.

@AryanRaj-yf2mj Wealth is accumulated over years and lost in a matter of minutes. Therefore, one has to be worthy of wealth. Did Dhirubhai Ambani have any wealth? Did Narayan Murthy start with ancestral land? What about another Gujarai and a dalit icon Ratibhai Makwana or a cobbler's son Ashok Khare? Stop shifting goal post. Today the world is more equitable than ever. In my state we too have a powerful brahmin lobby but noone can deny talent and hardwork for long.

@AryanRaj-yf2mj You clearly have zero idea of economics. This is communist mentality. You are not creating a starting point but only inciting violence and authoritarianism like the kind created by Stalin and Mao. The outcome was death and famine. In recent history Mugabe tried this and Zimbabwe was totally destroyed. Also not all wealth is with forward castes. In AP, it is mostly Reddys and Kammas who dominate land holdings. In TN, situation it is with the plethora of OBCs, in Kerala it Nayars and Chritians, In Karnataka it is with Vokkaligas, In Goa Saraswat brahmins are rich, In Maharashtra it is the Marathas. I will not deny the uneven caste based wealth distribution among forward and backward castes of North India but such communist ideology will hurt all. The focus should be on creating fair and just opportunities. NO SHORTCUTS.

@AryanRaj-yf2mj I have my reservations about the Congress but I am not a hardcore Modi suppporter a.k.a "Bhakt". I am a Capitalist as I believe it is the only way wealth can be created for all (of course people get greedy a.k.a crony-Capitalism). I agree with the latter part of your argument. I have faced such situations because in my state surname is a dead give away of ones caste but then I had brahmin friends and professors who were very encouraging and helpful. So its not about caste but more about people. I do see merit in general caste argument after all they do score better than OBC list and its natural to have feelings of resentment. Lets face it we have a bad education system. Why should some stupid merit score determine one's admission? No worthy person should be denied of admission. Also, in my state we have had instance where OBC cut-off has been higher than General. If that becomes a recurring theme than Generals will have nothing to complain about. It is not a question of resevation being bad or evil. It is there forever because it is political but one must be mindful of the fact that those who take aadmissions or jobs do an exemplary job so that nobody can raise questions. The problem is our mentality irrespective of caste. Its a bad practice of over 1000s of years. Only assimilation can change it and assimilation takes time. The leftist army of the country which primarily is made up of upper castes is actually force of evil that is furthering casteism. THERE ARE MORE THINGS THAT UNITE US THAN THOSE THAT DIVIDE US.

@AryanRaj-yf2mj It is one thing to preach totally another to practice. Check the whole discussion thread. Nobody called anyone freeloader or questioned merit. You were the one who started us vs them. Discrimination won't end of we send all the upper castes to concentration camps not will it end by whining over the topic. Society is not built by building society it is built by building ownself.
