  1. Knowledge, irrespective of the subject domain, is about facts. Muslim atrocities over the subcontinent are FACTS. Also, if Mughal exclusion is a betrayal, then so is not learning about Cholas, Marathas, and Vijayanagara Empire. Clearly, we cannot fit everything into our history textbooks books. Hence, being selective becomes necessary. However, nobody is stopping students from specializing in a particular period or dynasty.

  2.  @eshaan1110  The figure of Mughals contributing to 24% of global GDP has come from Angus Maddison. It has been widely disputed and hasn't been corroborated yet. However, their barbarism, atrocities, destruction of temples, and systematic genocide of Hindus and conversion are well evidenced. India still bears those scars. In any case, the economy is a product of the people and does not absolve administrators of their CRIMES. It's a miracle that Hinduism and Hindu civilization survived. They are no heroes to us.
