  1. The Indian LEFT's doctrine is "anti" and "cancel" against upper caste, feudal, industry, language, region and pro-Muslim. Nobody knows REALISM better than an Indian politician. IDEOLOGIES can fetch dedicated followers, but they also ALIENATE people. No party in India has ever secured a 50% vote share. Hence, nobody can afford to lose votes. Regional parties are caught in a BLIND. None of them can realistically challenge the BJP. The INC can challenge the BJP but it is unable to think past Rahul Gandhi, who is no match to Modi.

  2. Our ideologies are all MIXED up. Caste, religion, regional & linguistic identities also compete with political ideologies. Liberals are amongst the most confused lot. Left's HYPOCRISY has become its KRYPTONITE. Liberalism was about defending free speech, even disagreements, to death. Nupur Sharma fiasco exposed the Left-Liberals. India is a much more LIBERAL society than it realizes, but India's LEFT is "either my way or the highway" cult.
