I am from the west and have no benefit from the DELIMITATION (perhaps, even some loss). Nevertheless, DELIMITATION is essential. We CANNOT have 1 MP for 5 million people and 1 MP for 1 million population somewhere else. We can have EQUAL representation in Rajya Sabha so that population-controlling states DO NOT lose out.

@libshastra Let's not dismiss the concerns. Bihar and UP getting a disproportionate say in national matters on the back of ill performance will be a cruel joke on our federalism. At the moment, with a national party in power in UP, it may not be that much of a concern, but BJP won't remain in power forever. A formula must be devised that takes into consideration the changing population landscape but also leaves sufficient leeway for better-performing states.
