Normally end of a party would have been bad for democracy but we are talking about a party that forgot the art of fighting for the people and devoted itself in the servitude of one family. While Salman Rushdie is battling for life let's not forgot, it was Congress that banned his book and set the precedence for assault on Secularism. Nobody should mourn the death of Congress.
