@pamtam1 I never disputed FACTS Pre-CoVID decline was a reality as a percentage but not in absolute measures. In any case, many things were built into it - global gloom, the UPA era, the NPA mess, demonetization, etc. The CoVID impact was on account of the lockdown. Nothing unreasonable there. All facts and CONTEXTS.
Could India have done better during the period? Sure. 8 is definitely better than 7. But if 7 is the highest in the class, then the question paper was also challenging. India being the fastest growing large economy tells you about the environment then. Still, not getting an 8 or 10 is a welcome CRITICISM. I do NOT mind that.
Now, as to "Quotes". As I've established before, we can AGREE to DISAGREE. You made your point long ago, and I did it much before you. Check the definition of DESPERATION, and you'll know for yourself. I'm sure that's not such a difficult fact to process.
However, kudos to you for keeping the discussion civil. A rarity in online discussions.
