  1. We need term limits in for our elected representatives. 30-40 years for the same MLA and MP is terrible for democracy. BJP has a new and robust talent pool. Congress is a tired and senile party while AAP has vigor, if not pool.

  2. Shankar Bhai, In India OVERCONCENTRATION of power, is NOT unique to BJP. After so much fanfare of internal democracy, Khargeji has been a "Twitter President" only. BJP, AAP, JDU, DMK, ADMK, TRS, TMC, and RJD have competent and effective central leadership while INC's leadership is dull and question mark. BJP's strength comes from its pan-India reach post-2014.

  3. It is amongst the most developed state in the country. It ranks 11th in per capita income (2nd if you consider 6+ crore population states, first is Karnataka). Gujarat's main issues are health and social factors which would require citizen initiative and not political. Nevertheless, after Morbi, I agree that BJP needs to be kept on its toes. A solid opposition needs to come up. AAP looks promising.
