  1. Karnataka defeat is not really a big issue. It was meant to be given the state's revolving door pattern. Even the defeat margin isn't that much of a concern, given 5-10% vote swing is expected in Karnataka. However, Bommai's total dependence on Modi was NOT good at all. Nevertheless, it has given a new lease of life to Shivraj, Vasundhara, and Marandi. They are back in the saddle. BJP needs FIGHTERS like the trio. The other leaders in their own right are Yogi, HBS and Fadnavis. Khattar and Pramod Sawant ought to be DUMPED. Biren Singh is a little more COMPLEX given the state's population dynamics, and the ethnic divide was not really his doing but had been building for years.
