  1. Why blame the Govts? People were compliant. India started as the world's 6th largest economy in 1947 but was 12th in 1990 and is 5th in 2023. We looted our own in the name of SOCIALISM. Nehru is, at times, unfairly criticized. Our growth mainly CHOKED in the Indira Gandhi era.

  2. Documentation and public dissemination of such information is good. Our policymaking is so f*cked up because everything happens behind closed doors, and "Babus" who can't see two centimetres beyond their own nose call the shots. We need details, reports, and a peek into the "thinking" behind the policy, esp in the current era of MISINFORMATION.
