  1. The Himanta fiasco and the ongoing Rajasthan turmoil are VERY DIFFERENT. Himanta Sarma had fuel, but the Gandhis held the keys back then. In Rajasthan, Pilot seems to have neither the fuel (MLA backing) nor the keys. Just a "cheque" from the Gandhis that's getting encashed in the Gehlot-controlled bank. He might be looking to fly elsewhere. A Gehlot victory doesn't give him anything. A Gehlot defeat puts him in an uncertain future.
