  1. India has about 13 lakh doctors. In terms of doctors, India has achieved the WHO recommended doctor to population ratio of 1:1000. However, the pandemic is an extraordinary circumstance and the ratio does not speak about the disparities within regions. UP and Bihar are among the poorest and underdeveloped regions. Setting up a clinic in these hinterlands itself would be daring. Govt of India and almost all state Govt run on deficits. Nobody to fund the healthcare. We are a poor country and that's a valid excuse. Unless we become rich and powerful we'll have to get used to these sights. China like development can only occur with China like discipline.

  2. The other option for Bihar is Jungle Raj. That's how screwed up they are and that's India for you in general. If you are good you can't get elected.
