1:21:49 As an Australian, I saw this ABC Australia report/doc that got the reporter kicked out of the country. It was a well done report that seemed to be based purely on the facts and the fact she was kicked out of the country is evidence that democracy is disappearing in India.

@mvonwalter6927 unfortunately you're bang on. A 2023 poll from before October 7th had 73% of 18-24 yr olds identifying as right wing, compared to 46% of over 65s. It's said this support from the youth vote is what enabled Netanyahu to form a right wing coalition government. Right or wrong, the fact the Israeli youth grew up while the peace process failed and violence and horror seemed to escalate, resulting in a hardening of their politics. From its founding, Israel had a strong left leaning element to its politics. But in more recent times, I have seen plenty of reporting on the collapse of the left in Israeli politics as the right has become more dominant. And as shown in many of the polls, the movement to the right in the youth vote does not inspire hope for change.

The talk by officials describing what's happening in Rafah is total BS. " A limited incursion, a precise operation, measured expansion ". Have the IDF sent in ground troops and fighting street battles inside Rafah? Obviously yes and therefore the Rafah invasion is happening. As a result of, the two aid crossings into southern Gaza are currently not working at all, drastically reducing the amount of aid getting into Gaza, proving why the Rafah invasion shouldn't have happened (along with many other reasons). Biden's red line has been crossed, and so far Netanyahu has gotten away with it, all the while innocent Gazans continue to die with a smaller fraction of actual fighters being killed.

@DennisMoore664 Jared Kushner being so blatant with pro ethnic cleansing rhetoric is so wild that you definitely are in the right to repeat it. The fact he was the President's Senior Advisor and son-in-law and Trump is very close in polling to become President again, makes it even more scary. There's a lot to critique Biden over his actions during this war, but Trump's second term is going to be staffed by a lot of Pro-Netanyahu/Pro-Israeli right wing people.
