  2. hyylo The Tesla is only fast up 100mph or so, past that it runs out of steam completely. Tesla has also borrowed most of their tech from Mercedes. Most of the electrical systems and even the gear lever are sourced from Mercedes. The only thing Tesla really made 100% was the body, drive-train and infotainment system.

  4. vanhakaveri Not to mention a man by the name of Karl Benz who invented the very first gasoline powered internal combustion engine in the 1880s. Mercedes practically invented the modern motorcar.  Mercedes innovates, everyone else just follows.
