They had the resources and the expertise to come up with a unified response and failed. I remember states were forced to compete with each other to buy equipment on Ebay. Where would you get the idea states would know what to do in response to a pandemic? Trump said he was going to be the nation's "cheerleader" as the states tried to handle it. That was a dereliction of duty, a cop out. Can you think of another country that allowed the pandemic to ruin their economy? How did Germany manage to find a way? Taiwan got through the pandemic with 9,000 deaths compared with our 1.03 million. Their population is 10% of ours. Do the math . The US with 8% of the world's population, led the world in Covid deaths.

Millions of women are out there who want to work, but can't afford to leave the house. Guess what? Biden included childcare assistance funding in his infrastructure program, but Republicans voted it down as wasteful spending.
