  5.  @CCPLord  The German's got it right. 500 cases vs. 70,000 in the US. Of course, the most damaging thing was Trump dismantling the WH pandemic response office, Obama had set up, which resulted in chaos when the pandemic arrived. A lot of people died because of that foolish decision.

  12.  SWAT Kats  Trump didn't do anything. He called it a hoax and acted on that assumption. Other countries followed the guidelines and managed to minimize the damage. Germany had about 500 cases per day compared to our 70,000. Probably the most damning thing Trump did was to dismantle a pandemic response office Obama had set up in the White House to streamline and organize a response, so when the pandemic did occur everything was chaos.

  13.  SWAT Kats  The countries who had competent leadership used testing to isolate people testing positive. They got their test results within 24 hrs., so it meant something. The tests were plentiful and free. Our tests took one to two weeks to get results. What good is that?

  14.  SWAT Kats  It was racist. The virus came here by way of Europe, not f***ing China Town. The US has more testing today because the good ol' US is the virus epicenter. Other countries got a handle on the pandemic and are able to cut back. I just checked. It takes 10 days to get results here which is useless for stopping the virus. In Germany, you get a result within 24 hours.
