We are still recovering from Trump being in office the first time.

@satguy Btw, the labor participation rate is moving downward due to Boomers retiring, not weakness in the economy. Why do you mislead?

@zzzz-sf5lr I don't think Biden's 1.5 trillion dollar infrastructure package is aimed at creating minimum wage jobs. If he wanted to create minimum wage jobs he would have cut taxes to the billionaires like Trump did, hoping they will use some of the extra cash to open up a Family Dollar store or two. Name an infrastructure job that will be minimum wage. Grow a neuron.

@TheRealJoeMama1 My stats come from the U. S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. He's cherry-picking out what he thinks is evidence of a bad economy and ignoring the rest. Talk about distortion.

@TheRealJoeMama1 'The U.S. unemployment rate was 3.7% in January, according to Friday’s data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. That was unchanged from the level reported in December and lower than the 3.8% rate economists surveyed by FatSet expected. Santander’s chief U.S. economist, Stephen Stanley, who predicted unemployment would remain steady, said the bulk of the rise in the unemployment rate from the low of 3.4% in April to the current 3.7% is due to an influx of new workers. He expects that for the first half of 2024, the jobless rate will range 3.4% and 4.0%, as it has over the past two years."- BARRONS Yes, I cherry picked it out of this article. Now tell me where the distortion is. Btw, how is this in any way "disastrous"? "The unemployment rate didn't budge last month despite predictions from economists that called for a slight increase."

@TheRealJoeMama1 He thinks the economy is going downhill while the stock market is booming? It doesn't work like that.
