  11.  @caro350  Trump didn't try to accomplish much of anything. In 2016 he ran on healthcare reform, tax cuts and an infrastructure program to provide good paying jobs for the middle class. He never came up with a healthcare plan. His tax cuts largely benefited himself and the 1%. Who knows what happened to the infrastructure plan. That went up in smoke the day he got elected. He never mentioned it again. Which "harmful policies" did you have in mind? Do you even know?

Obama had something like 7 years economic growth, a record. Same with energy independence. Oil production went up 40% under Obama, a new record. Look this up if you don't believe me.

  23.  @hydrow6  Yes , lesson the symptoms. Lessoning the symptoms = thousands of lives saved. This is not a perfect world. There is no perfect vaccine. They worked with what they had to work with, with mixed results. Part of the problem is so many were unvaccinated (and remain so) it allowed the virus time to mutate.

The claim, by researchers, was that the vaccine would 'keep the affected out of the hospital" - meaning the virus would be diminished - not stopped. And don't forget Trump repeated the same things Fauci said. He even now takes credit for it even though he had nothing to do with it. Btw, the Pfizer vaccine was developed by Germany.

  25. @Zeppelin flyer You have to realize it was a new vaccine . All they knew was how the vaccine was supposed to work in theory and a few months of testing. It only works after a person is infected. There is nothing in it to prevent infections.

  35. I don't think the Left ever tried to win elections by way of insurrection or trying to have the army confiscate voting machines. Talk about double standards. The Right would like Hillary to be locked away forever for her emails, while Trump, who was responsible for inciting a deadly armed attack on the nation's capital, attempting to "overturn the election" as he described it, remains a free man. The Republican Party would be much stronger if they come clean , drop extremism, drop Trump and take up governing again.
