Companies use this money to buy back their stock and drive prices (and CEO profits ) up. It has nothing to do with the economy. So 'the left" insisted on higher unemployment benefits in exchange for "the right" transferring billions of dollars (actually 4 trillion) to the 1%. Is that a bad thing?
