@chrisg8321 80% of the tax cuts went to the wealthy. Why would a business find the need to expand if they get big tax cuts and don't need to expand? Isn't that the Republican line regarding welfare programs for poor people? Give them handouts and the incentive to find jobs will disappear? So why do you approve of handouts to the rich? This is socialism to the wrong end of the spectrum and it does not improve the economy. You know, the government didn't have the trillion dollars required for the big tax cuts. They borrowed it from the Chinese. Your grandchildren will be paying it off.

@chrisg8321 Democratic Socialism. Many of the European countries have Democratic Socialism . The Socialism you are talking about is the government taking over the economy. Democratic Socialism does not do this - it merely promotes the well being of citizens. We use this everywhere in this county. You don't have to hire private fire control people if your house catches on fire. The government does it and it doesn't cost you $5,000. In Europe, Germany for example, college is free. Here, you might end up paying off a debt of $50,000 to $100,000. Medical care services are free or extremely low cost in Europe . A broken leg in Germany might cost $200 (or nothing). Here, an xray, setting and cast costs $10,000. Get your information from other sources instead of just watching Fox News. I don't watch MSNBC, CNN or Fox News. All are propaganda machines owned by the super wealthy.

@chrisg8321 50% of wage earners are too poor to barely get by. The economy is a mess. Company expansion is based on demand. Why would a car dealership expand if people are to poor to buy a new car?

@chrisg8321 Buying health insurance is a tax. Paying for college is a tax. Paying for car repairs because the roads are in shitty condition is a tax. There is a reason people in Europe are generally happier than in the US. "the only "socialism" part of it is that it has a large social safety net" (this is Sanders position)

@chrisg8321 The big thing is 50% of Americans are now living in near-poverty conditions, pay check to pay check, during a "booming economy". Our capitalistic economy clearly is not working for half the county. This is a fact. Trump has no plan. His plan was a big tax cut for the rich ( borrowed from the Chinese. Your grandchildren will have to pay for it ). This is simply welfare for the rich, which is not a plan.

@bingbongabinga2954 The US is imperialist. How many wars are we involved in right now? Seven? We have over 700 military bases in other countries. And when we establish a military base in another country - we never leave. I noticed watching the news (not Fox) Venezuelans refer to us as "the empire".
