  1. Context matters. The US is a key part of NATO, and it's in all of NATO'S countries interests to ensure that another villanous superpower like Russia doesn't get bigger and more powerful, and not least of all, bold and daring. We can't just let them take over another sovereign country. Both due to humanity and human rights, as well as to not embolden Russia. Letting them TAKE OVER A COUNTRY is in none of our interest. I'm as anti-war as it gets, as well as progressive, but hell.. it's not all black and white. This need for defense is not about going to war with Russia. It's important to get a handle om this BEFORE a war actually breaks out severly, FORCING NATO, which includes the US to act, costing us all even more lives and money. These issues, and being anti-war is NOT a black or white issue. Sometimes involvement is acquired to hault actual wars.

  2. Just love mr Ojeda. Thanks for caring about the rest of us non-US citizens! Europe may be far better, but holy moly, do we got a whole ton of turmoil brewing over here as well.. the US can't act as though the EU doesn't matter to them, whether the nation is officially part of the EU or not.
