@wjs5875 ... first of all, I am not a USA citizen... second: ICU visits are never free (if you don't pay them, your insurance does and that is payed by the monthly fees) and every medical system benefits from less time spend in the ICU. Third, if you don't "pay" for the ICU, then you won't "pay" for your drugs ... (but your insurance will spend less = less monthly fees for all)

@wjs5875 dude, use the thing attached to your shoulders. I am a huge opponent of "for profit" health care and think Healthcare should primarily be accessible to everyone (even for "free" to low income/no income people)... but to make that possible, it must be as efficient as possible (because someone always has to pay, even it it isn't you) Do I think they overpriced the drug, yes, still it's cheaper than the alternative (and especially for broken systems like the USA where you quickly end up paying your own bill)
