  5.  David Hansen  he was President at the time making an impeachment the only recourse - a sitting President cannot be indicted. Impeachments as you know are a political calculation and 2/3 of the Senate has to vote to convict. You can speculate as to why only seven Republicans voted to convict but McConnell closed insinuating that there should be a criminal case to address Trump's culpability. Who knows what will happen if anything?
