She'll lose the lawsuit if she attempts it. If her Parler account didn't include the name of the literary agency, she'd have more latitude. Her profile said she is Christian, conservative and a literary agent from this company. The implication is the agency is Christian and conservative and looks for talent on the same platform where domestic terrorists operate. She wouldn't even get a settlement.

There's a reason you don't practice law.

Let's hope, he's ridiculous and his audience tend to be white nationalists.
1
Parler isn't evil but there certainly was a lot of evil on that platform.
1
She really doesn't.
1
Fascism is a far-right ideology.
1
Nazis are far-right and have been losing power, not gaining power.
1
And you know this because of all the time you've spent living and working in North Korea?
1
@rogerburn5132 okay, buddy, I'll wait and see.
1
I guess it would if you didn't understand late-stage capitalism.
1
You won the internet, today!
1
They sure don't! It's funny how they claim a fascist platform like Parler is free from censorship. I bet they don't even know 'brown shirts' are far-right nationalists.
1
Fascism is far-right, you're looking for communism. Neither apply in this case because private companies acting in their best interests is called capitalism.
1
Being a coward and a traitor means you're anti-patriot.
1
Nazist?
1
@Adnegaify hmmmm.
1
Only if idiots consider to misconstrue reality, claim to be victims and use coordinated strikes against America.
1
McCarthy was attacking those he viewed as communist. Are you accusing Tucker Carlson of being a neo-McCarthyist?
1
Leave it to Tucker Carlson to spin the issue into faux outrage. She wasn't fired for being on social media, she was fired for implying that she represents the interests of the publishing company on Parler and Gab. Advertising to draw writers from a site frequented by white supremacists and neo-Nazis is not how her (now former) company wanted to be seen. Now she can solicit the manuscripts of domestic terrorists independently on her own time, just like any other member of a free society.

Typical Republicans and their cancel culture...
1
Maybe you should read 1984.
1
Nineteen Eighty Four was a cautionary tale against extreme far-right nationalism. Maybe you should read it.
1
2021, where two terms are conflated by someone who understands neither.
1
Nazis were far-right, like the terrorists that invaded our Capitol. Do you think she was fired by the seditionists? That doesn't really make sense...
1
She could bring about a suit but her hope would have to be that they'd settle because she'll lose. She created her profile on Parler as a an agent of her former company and being Christian and conservative. Every company has a say in how they are advertised. We also don't know what she posted or liked while acting as their unauthorized representative. She may want to lower her profile before she receives a defamation lawsuit from the literary agency.
1
You know the terrorists that attacked the Capitol were literally Nazis, right?
1
She will but she'll likely use. She conflated her personal views with that of her company and they fired her because she didn't have permission to represent them on Parler.
1
@jayschofield2472 you know how to Independently research, I hope. Don't trust agencies or internet strangers and find things out for yourself.
1
You're still buying into the Big Lie, huh? I wonder why people don't listen to your wrongheaded opinions...
1
Supporting sedition and domestic terrorism has consequences and private companies have the latitude to expel whomever violates the terms and conditions for users.
1
I think bison are a much better move then Trump. Bison are powerful, fast and strong!
1
"Undoing the absolute failure of the last administration with the stroke of a pen" is long for a slogan but factually accurate.
