It's just kinda delaying the inevitable. The document review is complete. The Special Master can't alter the record and will only have purview over seized documents which are attorney client privilege. White House attorneys are not personal attorneys and if any documents contain discussion/advice from a White House attorney, the privilege does not apply. Trump and his allies have been loudly complaining about a legal search and seizure but they haven't attempted to mount a defense about why documents were in his possession, mishandled or not returned upon request.
