  1. There are a lot of Ukraine soldiers who don't believe in the cause anymore and are surrendering to Russia. According to some reports about 10,000 have already surrendered to the russians. These are probably the young and untrained ukrainian men who was conscripted to the ukrainian army. The surrounding countries where hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian men run to also denied Zelensky's call for them to send them back to Ukraine. So yeah, Ukraine will run out of men pretty soon.

The only thing he missed was in 1991 when the US promised gorbachev that NATO won't ever advance an inch towards the east. Putin/Russia tried everything they could pleading to NATO naot to go ahead with their plans/provocations. Take a look at it this way, when the Soviet planted their missiles in Cuba which is thousands of miles away from any major nuclear target, the US nearly started a nuclear war. If Ukraine was NATO, a missile from the border will be 5 minutes away from Moscow. You think Russia will ever let Ukraine be a NATO member?
