It depends a lot how big the sauna is and how many kg of rocks there is. a traditional smoke sauna with a ton of rocks takes half a day to heat up.

Solar powered things for some reasons don't work when the night lasts for months.

Xea Swedish sauna is not a sauna. That's why they call it bastu. In real sauna you have hot rocks and you pour water on them to make löyly.
1
Xea No it is not. In Swedish bastu you are not allowed to throw water. They don't have stones.

Xea It is not a sauna. It is a hot dry room, nothing more.

Xea You can call a cat a horse, but it is still a cat.

Not a shock at all. Refreshing. After a sauna, weather feels more plesant. It also works in hot weather.

@umikomura1140 You should think more or less. Hard to say, but one thing is sure. You don't know what a sauna is. Normal temperature in sauna is 80°C-120°C

@galaxy1234 Boiling point depends air pressure. Over 100°C water is possible and shower too. You just need to raise room's air pressure.

@luc8254 You're supposed to go naked. Of course you get hot in 55°C if you wear clothes. But then again if sauna is under 60 you might as well leave, because it is too cold.

@luc8254 If it is too hot, you can always sit on the middle bench ...like a little girl. :P
