4:43 here is the problem with this type of argument, you are pricing gold to the dollar not the other way around. "Current worth" or should I say "fixed worth", as it is fixed daily, is part of the issue. Gold amounting to 10 trillion "Dollars" is arbitrary, there is no reason why it could not be valued at 25 trillion, unless you want dollar hegemony. Just as .00001 of a BC could be valued at $X amount, so could any amount of gold, down to the molecular level at this point in technology.

 @heyho4770 Goods made through the 50's=70's lasted a lifetime as opposed to stuff today and things were as good or better financially.
