Only the very best and brightest, most sober and accomplished of legal minds with a sterling reputation (even in adolescence), appropriate temperament and character and only the highest moral-ethical standards should even be considered for the Supreme Court in the first place. And that obviously does not include Clarence Thomas, Brett Kavanaugh, Neil Gorush, Sam Alito and Amy Comey Barrett. If you or I behaved like Brett Kavanaugh at a job interview we wouldn't get the job.
