88 Lorries? Non of them cleared customs. This is not even 1% of the estimated amount. What should this prove? It shows the Tories can't even organize a test.

@johnhumphrey9174 The least I heard is that they try to use more customs officers. Let me give you an example. A bathtub fills faster with water then it can flow out. The British "solution" is use a tank to hold it in. The problem is that delays only that the bath tub overflows for a few days max. The non British solution is to use more customs officers so more trucks can pass or in our example more water can flow out. So they increase the amount of trucks pass customs while the British solution is wait till the water floods the bathroom.

@peterlarkin5965 10.000 trucks a day flow through Dover. I am sure 88 showed that they can do it.

joe caterman I asked people who actually work in logistics and they said that the choke point is customs clearance. On obvious solution would be more customs officers and more lanes to process more trucks simultaneous. The problem is that the UK slowed down traffic immensely. So one needs to speed it up again and not stack it.
