@jenniebugs1 Adam Posen explains is very nicely https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EcIkIz98zXU Have a look!

Richie - Several countries in the EU have a monarchy. So how do you come up with such fantasy claims?
1
@insoft_uk So you have this from a study or is that more a gut feeling? If it is from a study please share a link and sum up the main arguments. In all other cases thanks for sharing your feelings in this topic.

Ade Burnham - No Johnson made a promise he could not fulfill and so he lied. This is not surprising as he get fired out of two jobs, because of his lies.
1
Rob Ortiz - This is a simple situation made complicated. The UK leaves a political organisation of sovereign countries. The problem in this issue is how to leave. A lot of people made promises about how easy and how wonderful leaving is but they turned out to be all lies. So the governing Tories can not agree how to leave. So Tory radicals stopped the own Tory negotiated withdrawal agreement to leave the EU. We have at least a dozen Leave scenarios people would like to have and they can not agree on one and vote on one.

Tony de Castro - It takes time to read it and one need to understand the implications. It is much easier to throw around sound bites and dates.

Rumpoleful - Enjoy then 10 year negotiation with the EU on all the unsolved issues. Not to mention the 100 billion loss to the UK economy per year. This means a loss in jobs, a loss in tax revenue and a loss in social services like the NHS. Leaving like this will be a crash into a brick wall.
1
@Rumpoleful Can you elaborate your concerns? The UK PM asked under order from the sovereign UK parliament from the EU for an extension of its membership for the third time. The UK would have left in March if not Tories had blocked the Tory deal that Tories negotiated.
1
@Rumpoleful Well the UK government obviously missed to mention to the voters the commitments they made in the name of the UK. The UK has right now access to trade treaties with 80 countries and frictionless trade with 27 more countries. People have to actually work for doing all the paperwork and negotiation. The UK uses dozens of EU agencies like one Aviation or medicine and many. These people working for decades in the EU for all members including the UK have a pension to be paid. The UK agreed to the 7 year finance plan from 2014 to December 2020. They agreed to pay to the commitment they made. Yes British politicians are not very good in explaining or even understanding the services, the pensions, the financial commitments they made. We can ask ourselves are they to uninformed, are they just failing to explain it properly or are they just lying.

Dorian Grey - It did not work with the last election. Why should it work this time?
1
@jenniebugs1 There is either a withdrawal agreement and a trade treaty or a crash into a brick wall. Then the UK will have to negotiate anyway. This will last at least 7 to 10 years. The day after Brexit is the beginning of long negotiations.
