  1. A good illustration of the hypocrisy of using the term "communities" for suburbs. Fences, distancing, alienation are what suburbs are all about. Now kids have to have "play dates."

  2. Suburbs exist because the white people wanted to stay away from the black people. Where I grew up, a black person caught in town after sundown by the police was going to regret it - if he lived.
