  2.  @brianmolele7264  BRICS is a subset of G20 with specific economic and social objectives. Why is EU influenced by NATO (Military objective) in G20? BRICS has only South Africa but AU represents the entirety of the continent just like EU representing much of the European continent. By the way, EU was the first one to jump and agree for AU to join G20, maybe because of guilt conscience of colonization or they had a small place in their progressive thinking to be inclusive of Africa OR they want to neutralize and woo AU away from China-Russia influence (I stand for the chinese people but not their 1-party). It is better for AU, like India to be close to the center and be neutral in this West vs Russia-China mud (aka war) slingling and focus on economic growth.
