  1. The Russians are pulling the young and middle-aged men out of the provinces and sending them to Ukraine to suffer life changing or life ending events. It is these men who would providing much of the physical labour needed to keep their villages functioning. When the war finally ends some/many will be so injured that they will no longer be fully productive. Agree, Russia is fully screwed.
