  10. Hamas started in the beginning as an humanitarian organization. The Israelis authorities thought that the hamas will relieve the sufferings, the corruption and the abusses from the corrupt fatah leadership. Later they appeased the Hamas by negotiating with it and allowing money to flow into Gaza. But appeasement is not the same as support.
