  1. I totally agree on each of your points Anders. I think putin orchestrated it; it serves many purposes. Those you have pointed out, plus the psychological warfare aspect that russia gets to hold over all of Europe and, it prevents any Coup attempt - that perhaps had ideas of 'turning the gas back on' once putin was gone. Now, there is less 'reward' to deposing putin - those who would do so can no longer 'turn the taps back on' - not for a long time if they're permanently damaged.
