  1. Incredible insights and analysis from this legend, General Petraeus, as well as another I see interviewed on DW News, General Ben Hodges - both of these men are in the same league. THESE are the minds and attitudes that guide western tactics and strategy and support for Ukraine. It's always an honour to listen to General Petraeus and as another Canadian subscriber to DW for some time, I commend DW News for such high quality coverage.

  4. How could a modern country with a world-leading economy allow themselves to get into this situation where they could be held hostage by their energy supplier? The world has seen how russia operates yet they doubled down on the second pipeline, now dead. I hope the weather this winter and next spring is kind to Germans as they move to fix this mess.

  6.  @2dronetek2  And, if I'm not mistaken RUSSIA - was NOT a member on the Security Council - The USSR was! Big difference! Russia should never have been 'given' the USSR position and all of their privileges should be revoked. Follow through with withdrawal and reparations and the UN could again be a possibility - with a different leader.

  8. I'm surprised Secretary Stoltenberg sat through this rude interrogation. Did she mention she 'interrogated' him a week prior'?? I'm surprised he would return for more of her rude and overbearing 'interrogation style'. Badgering the witness and then not waiting for your guest to finish an answer is not 'hard-hitting journalism,' it's just overbearing and rude. Did she really expect Secretary Stoltenberg to tell HER? what the specific plans are in the event of any number of possible scenarios??

  17. I totally agree. I've seen other videos analysing the frames just before the explosion and it can be shown to be a bow wave. And to think that russia, with their messed up infrastructure could put together an 80+ missile operation in two days? All set up in advance. (Same way the guys they have in custody are being framed.)

  20. Artillery (stockpiles) is causing pain (power outages and civilian suffering) - but logistics (ability to move it to the front line) wins the war. The UAF has done a brilliant job of using long-range precision artillery to eliminate russian stockpiles and cut logistic lines (Kerch, Bridge, rail and roads). Lend-lease equipment and gear is arriving daily... It - IS - coming. russia - get - out - while - you - can!

  21. I think there a myriad of words to describe him but 'everyone' says he's psychotic?? I am hearing a lot of high quality interviews with all manner of experts but have not heard 'psychotic'. Quote a bunch of sources? I'll go so far to say he MAY be mad, by definition, or well on the way. And he may have thyroid cancer - but who says 'psychotic'?
